  Dad called me form Vietnam this morning to wish me a happy birthday. We talked for a while and he asked me about work. Told him that it was exhausting. Anyway, had to work overtime till 5pm today to cover for Bill [who never showed up for his shift]. Geh. Also, I found out from Asmay that I can only get a day off on Wednesday since tomorrow will be reserved for the boys outside.

Well....he practically dashed my plans to talk to iku-nee ,kyo-ne and May-chan. Okay. Two days to go till Wednesday.

To Rustie: *huggles*  was right? It was an alien-llama! ngahahahaha!!! Thanks for the cookie. As for thanksgiving, we dont celebrate it here in Malaysia ^_^.

 Today was my first day as a trainee at the petrol station. The first few moments were pretty awkward I should say. I felt so helpless for I don't know a whim on how to use the touch-screen system since the icons were pretty much not like the average computer, with it's pumping-posts and other thinggys.
 
 But the awkwardness finally disappeared when Kak Nisa, one of the few female workers there came for duty. I learned that she's one year older than me. Kak Nisa taught me practically everything and under her guidance, being a cashier became quite an enjoyable task. And fun too. The other workers were great and quiet supportive. There were moments of panic on my part when something out of the ordinary happened but they were quick to help me.

Gah..but the lowdown of this job are that I happen to work at peak hours.. *wince*..and...that I rarely get to sit down during those eight hours of work.

 Yesterday was my younger sister's birthday and the whole family decided to take a drive to Cyberjaya. Honestly, I haven't been there before so it was a good chance to savour some new sights. I didn't go to Elfie's house as planned because I couldn't find her address -__-" SMS-ed Illy for it but my big sis didn't tell me about her reply till 4pm yesterday, which got me into a hissy fit. Eventually I got over it and we all went to the Outback restaurant. Oh..and my kitty bit me yesterday. It was a playful bite but I was surprised and snatched my hand away, resulting in a horrible gash.

So...I went to my dad's workplace and got a tetanus shot. Then went to the hypermarket with mum Yea..I feel a bit tired after the trip to the hypermarket. But I did went to Petronas and requested an employment application form. I was elated that Petronas employs 17-year olds. Hahaha..I need all the money I can get my hands on right now. My parents are on a tight-budget this month so I'm just helping them out.

What else? Decided to make my LJ "Friends-Only". I wanted it to be a private journal and not an open blog like xanga is. Anything else?....yes. PMK 8 was just released by Anime-Keep. *chuckles* I love Thursdays.

 I got the oppotunity to talk to Nat tonight and along the way, she got me hooked onto Kings of Chaos. I wasn't into online games before, but since this game consist of elves, dwarves, orcs and humans i decided to give it a try. I guess being a huge Tolkien fan was one of the main factors why I quickly got engrossed in that game. Nat, if you are reading this, I want to say thanks a bunch :3 I love KoC.

 Also, I just realized that my writer's block won't go away on it's own anytime soon and the update for Aishiteru will be postponed. Haven't been reading SD fics have I? Honestly, I'm starting to lose interest in Slam Dunk [to my horror -_-"] Because of that, I'm attempting to read as many sd fics as I possibly can to keep my wanning interest. If I were to lose interest completely to the fandom, I'd be writing Peacemaker Kurogane fics since FF.net doesn't have that archive as of yet. Anything that has to do with the Shinsengumi has always been one of my interests.

Onto other things, I didn't get a job at Carrefour like I was planning to. The only reason: I wasn't 18 yet. Yea..I was disappointed. But I'm trying to try my luck at Petronas as an attendant. I really need the money right now since I have so many things to do and I can't rely on my parents any longer. If Petronas were to reject me because of the age barrier, then I'd have to make a call to this one agency that employs school-leavers as part-time promoters. I hate promoting for I don't have the flair to converse confidently. We'll see how thing go.
